SC INBRE: Cyndy Buckhaults, Communications Manager and CDW Event Coordinator
SC INBRE will be offering a limited number of slots to have headshots taken by a professional photographer with priority given to upper class undergraduates for photos to be used with grad/med/professional school applications, etc. Other individuals may also be given slots. If you would like to be considered for a slot, be sure to indicate that with the question provided on the Registration Form.
Those that are chosen for this opportunity will be sent an email from SC INBRE/Cyndy Buckhaults. Headshots will be located in the Board Room.
The Career Fair and the Cores and Collaborations Fair, both held from 11 am to 12 noon, are opportunities for you to meet one-on-one with institutions and organizations and to learn what they offer to help your career.
Career Fair is focused for students with different postbaccalaueate options. This is in lieu of our past Grad School 101 and Med/Professional School 101 sessions.
Cores and Collaborations Fair involves different service cores and NIH/NIGMS-funded programs who can enhance your research/research program.
We assign you a lunch table based on the Research Area Topic of Interest that you indicated on the Registration Form. This will allow you to meet other researchers with similar interests from other institutions located throughout the state. See your name tag for table #.
A limited number of pre-paid reserved parking spaces will be made available to our attendees with priority given to our presenters and exhibitors (thank you!) and to those carpooling. Make sure you indicate on the Registration Form if you’d like to be considered for one of the parking passes.
NOTE: If you are bringing a bus or large passenger van, please let Cyndy know. Heavy vehicles cannot be parked in the parking lot (it may look ground level, but it is actually the top floor of an older parking garage). Special parking accommodations can be made for you.
