SC INBRE’s annual Science Symposium is coming this January! This will be a virtual day of pre-recorded and live/Q&A interactive sessions with some of our Bioinformatics Pilot Project Program and Developmental Research Project Program grant recipients and LIVE SC INBRE-funded student research poster presentations, PLUS networking meeting rooms and online viewing of all posters and recordings! Watch future newsletters and our website for more details! Start considering now if you’d like to volunteer to serve as a session/room moderator or participate in our Exhibit Hall.


Who can attend?

Anyone! Our 12th Annual Science Symposium will be open to any member of the public who choses to register. This is our chance to show off the great work produced by SC INBRE!


What is the Science Symposium?

The SC INBRE Developmental Research Project and Bioinformatics Pilot Project Program funded faculty will give talks on their research. Students will have poster presentations. Symposium will also include a networking time – a chance for you to meet others who are performing research topic areas.


Important Dates

  • Abstract Submissions are due Friday, December 4, 5 pm ET.

  • Recorded Presentations are due Friday, January 8, 5 pm ET.

  • Registration will close on Friday, January 8, 5 pm ET.

  • Science Symposium will be held on Saturday, January 23 via Zoom beginning at 8:15 am.
